Board & Train Programs
Puppy Foundation
For puppies between 8 weeks to 4 months of age. Setting the foundation to:
- understand basic commands
- important socialization
- appropriate potty breaks
- manners in the home
- crate training
- valuing food
- obedience positions (sit, come, down)
Reliable Obedience Training
Optimal K9's Reliable obedience program is geared to help Handlers feel comfortable taking their dogs anywhere and everywhere on-leash. We hold the dogs in our programs to a high standard so that it's like a brand-new dog when your pup returns! This training is ideal for dogs 5 months and older. Your dog will learn the following:

Advanced Obedience Training
This program is perfect for a handler who wants a higher level of training for their dog. If you travel frequently with your furry companion or want your dog to listen in busy areas this is the training for you. Your dog will learn all commands on and off leash. This training is ideal for dogs 6 months and older. Your dog will learn the following:
- Sit
- Implied Stays
- Contact Heel
- Down
- Recall
- Place
- Crate Training
- Socialization Skills
- Environmental Socialization
- Remote Collar Training (Remote Collar not included)

Behavioral Training
This training is designed for adjusting unwanted behaviors. It's ideal for dogs older than 6 months.
We handle all types of dogs by looking into the reasons the dog is doing the behavior & then making it undesirable while giving them other motivators to take its place.
Your dog will learn all commands in the reliable obedience package while also devoting time to adjust the negative behaviors you no longer want to see.
Whether you are dealing with food aggression, dog reactivity, Human aggression, or just annoying behaviors you just can't seem to get rid of, this program is perfect for you.
What To Expect
Board and Train
- Your dog will live in our trainer’s home and be treated like a member of the family.
- The trainer will have no more than 4 dogs at one time, ensuring more training time and attention than any other program.
- You will receive weekly updates and photos of your dog during training.
- We provide 2x free private In-home sessions after the board & train.
- Phone and email support during and after training are included.
- Receive a go-home lesson to learn all your dog has been taught.
In-Home Sessions Bundle
- A introduction Interview with the dog and handler.
- Assessment on what the dog responds to and what issues the handler is having with the dog.
- Discussion on what the handlers goals are for the training.
- Open communication throughout the week with the trainer for tips and information.
- Public outings to ensure the dogs training is reliable outside the home.
- Recommend equipment that will eliminate your dogs negative behaviors.
- Trainer will give client a clear management plan to ensure dogs training will continue to progress even after training is complete.

Executive Protection Dog (comes with Level l & ll Tactics)

Please note: Most dogs that do not come from well-bred working blood are not capable of this work. We will not train dogs that are incapable of this work. If you are thinking seriously about a dog for protection, we suggest you purchase a dog or puppy from a proven working breeder.
We require a consultation before your dog can participate in protection programs.
